Totacef is mainly used to treat severe bacterial infections caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria. The most prominent cases in which it is recommended for use are lower respiratory tract infections such as bacterial pneumonia, urinary tract infections and severe bladder infections.
Totacef treats skin and soft tissue infections such as abscesses and deep skin infections caused by bacteria, bone and joint infections such as osteomyelitis.
